UVU Softball...Great West Champions!

Utah Valley University Softball girls take their first ever

GREAT WEST Championship!

(Farmers Branch, Texas)

Megan was blessed to be a big part of the teams success this weekend.

She got the WIN in game one on Monday morning after completing the final 4.2 innings in a 9 inning game with 1 hit, 2 BB, 1 SO...final score 5-4...which advanced them to the Title game.

See Megan on the mound....Thank you technology for letting me feel like I'm there when I'm not!

1st title game...Megan entered the pitching mound with 1 out and 2 on base and UVU ahead 4-2...after 2 complete innings to finish the game she gave up No hits, 1 BB, 1 SO to force a second Title game. Winner take ALL.

You guessed it...WINNERS!

3-1 for UVU

MEGAN...You did it! A dislocated left shoulder, surgery with 5 new anchors and 4 months recovery couldn't stop you from doing what you love and overcoming challenges along the way.

SO PROUD of your accomplishments ON and OFF the field as you finish your 1st year of college!

A New Journey...

Today Kevin was set apart as a High Counselor for the Student Marriage 2nd Stake at the University of Utah. This sacred ordinance was performed by President Durham and his counselors at our home.

We missed Landon who could not be there and Megan who was traveling home with her team from Idaho.

I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go...

What started out to be an ordinary day changed when the phone rang at 1:30pm...

Brother Peay this is President Murray. President Durham would like you and Cindy to meet with the Stake Presidency at 3:00pm. Would you be available?

Once Kevin gained his composure and took a deep breath...we then determined what we needed to do in preparation for dinner with the kids as our home teachers would be stopping by soon. We were now on our way to Salt Lake City...the Uof U area.

After 101/2 months back in the home ward...the Lord was now calling us to a new assignment. The Young Married Stake at the University of Utah with Kevin serving on the High Council. This will be our new home away from home each Sunday for the next 3 years.

A new adventure in the life of the Peay's.
